Community Use (Fife)

Learning in Fife doesn't end with the school bell!

Many schools across Fife are open in the evenings and weekends for Community Use.

Community Use (Fife) is an integral resource delivering and facilitating lifelong access to learning, physical, sporting and cultural activities to meet the needs of our local communities.

In consultation with our learners, we are constantly looking to develop our programme of activities for all ages.

If you have experience and/or qualifications in a particular subject and a passion for sharing your knowlege then please get in touch.

We are a nice bunch to work for and the hourly rate isn't bad - full details on request. We are also pretty flexible - so you can schedule your activity at a day & time to suit your lifestyle.

Specifically but not exclusively we are looking for Coaches and Tutors to lead the following:

Sports Coaching

Physical Activity & Fitness

Pre-School activities

Music - instruments & vocals

Drawing – out & about

Bicycle Maintenance

Bread Making

Christmas Treats (food)

Cooking for Men

International Starters

History – Fife, Scotland, WW1 & II

Public Speaking

Card Making

Garden Design

Curtain Making & Soft Furnishing

Film Studies

Literature (Book Club)

We are open to all suggestions - we've offered some crazy courses over the years - so don't be shy to suggest something unusual and new. If it appeals to enough learners we'll put it on! I've attached a copy of the Autumn programme for the Dunfermline area to give you an idea of what we offer presently.

We have 14 sites across Fife from Inverkeithing to St. Andrews.

To express your interest or request more information please email Scott Fenton in the first instance.

We look forward to hearing from you.
