Bus Service Changes - Monday 19th August 2019

There will be bus service changes on Monday 19th August. The changes are mainly due to the commencement of Fife Council supported services for South Fife. The attachment (in the publications section) shows a description of the route and which operator will operate the service from Monday 19th August 2019.
Main changes are:
Service 20A will operate via Lochore Meadows and will now be operated by Stagecoach.
Service 89 will change operator from Bay Travel to Stagecoach.
Service 18 Sunday journeys, will change operator from Stagecoach to Bay Travel.
Service 71 88, F6 & 4B/C will change operator from Stagecoach to Bay Travel.
Bay Travel have agreed to accept current Stagecoach Megarider weekly or monthly tickets at no extra cost until they expire on services F6 and 4B only **. Additionally they have agreed a supplementary ticket as an add on option to anyone who purchases a Stagecoach day return/dayrider for a cost of £1, similarly anyone with a weekly Stagecoach Megarider can purchase a ticket from Bay Travel for £3.50. ** Bay Travel advise that proof of purchase must be shown to the driver.
Bay Travel are also amending service 13 to extend the service to Ballingry from West Wemyss via Lochgelly, Cardenden, Fife Central Retail Park continuing to Kirkcaldy Town Centre, Victoria Hospital, Dysart & West Wemyss. The section of route between Ballingry and Fife Central Retail Park will be operated on a commercial basis. The service will continue to operate beyond West Wemyss to Leven as Service L3.
Moffat & Williamson are also making minor changes to service 64 and service 92.
Service 64 timetable is amended to improve reliability and will also incorporate Younger Gardens.
Service 92 will no longer extend to Younger Gardens and terminate at St Andrews Hospital as this area will be served by service 64.
