Free Community Wellbeing Course

FEAT Journey to Work

Following the Community Gains public vote last year, Fife Employment Access Trust are now open to receiving bookings for their Community Wellbeing courses in February.

The course is aimed at the general public and is for anyone who wants to improve the mental health and wellbeing of their area.  1 in 4 members of the community will experience a mental health problem this year and the course is designed to help participants:

  • recognise signs and symptoms of mental health problems
  • tips on dealing with stress and anger and defusing rows
  • understand alcohol and substance misuse
  • recognise symptoms of dementia
  • help someone with suicidal thoughts
  • raise awareness of stigma and discrimination

Thursday 24 February : 6.30 pm - 9 pm Glenwood High School

Friday 25 February: 1 pm - 3.30 pm Cadham Neighbourhood Centre

Saturday 26 February: 9.30 am - 12 pm Thornton Public Hall
