Fife Council’s Social Work teams would like to thank the Dunfermline Round Table for their generous donation of £1000. The money went towards buying Christmas presents for less privileged children in Fife.

Convener of Education and Children’s Services Fay Sinclair commented: "The Children and Family Social Work Service  accepted this generous gift of £1000 from Dunfermline Round Table which helped vulnerable families over the Christmas period.

"Social Workers across the teams in Dunfermline are working with families for whom Christmas is a time of real financial challenge. The money helped parents buy gifts for their children and with the cost of food giving families a really wonderful Christmas."

Dunfermline Round Table added: "We know how difficult a time of year Christmas can be for some families. This money helped families who are less fortunate than others to have a happy Christmas with less of a financial burden."
