Are you an EU citizen living or working in Scotland?

The Scottish Government and Fife Council would like to invite you to an event hosted by Scottish Government Ministers and the Co-Leaders of Fife Council, to hear your experiences and concerns about the impact of Brexit on the rights of EU citizens in Scotland.

Taking place on Tuesday 12 December, 19:00 - 20:30 at New Volunteer House, Kirkcaldy, this will be a participatory event, giving people the opportunity to speak directly to the Co-Leaders of Fife Council, to the Minister for International Development and Europe, and to officials, and to share your experiences and concerns about the impact of Brexit on your right to live, work, study or retire in Scotland.

You will also have the opportunity to hear more about the Scottish Government’s policy approach to immigration and the free movement of EU citizens following Brexit, and how Fife Council is supporting EU Citizens and looking at the economic impact of Brexit.

Tickets must be booked via Eventbrite as places are limited

Please note that while we look forward to hearing your experiences and perspectives, unfortunately we cannot provide legal advice on individual situations.

Scotland is an outward facing and diverse country, with a long history of welcoming the world to visit, live, work and invest in Scotland, and to build their lives here with their families. EU citizens and their families make a vital contribution to our economy, culture, communities and society.

We recognise that that this is a difficult time for many EU citizens living in Scotland who may be concerned about their future rights and status. The Scottish Government and Fife Council want to hear more about the experiences and concerns of EU citizens since the EU Referendum, and how this is impacting on their lives.
