Hi, We are Lesley and Diane, both licensed qualified Zumba® Instructor and Pound Fit Instructor as well as qualified Group Fitness Instructor - Exercise to Music. Diane is also a licensed qualifed Red Warrior, Metafit and Insanity Instructor.  We both have a passion for dance and fitness!


We currently teach the following formats of dance and fitness :-


Zumba - Zumba Fitness, Zumba Toning, Zumba Gold and Zumba Gold Toning.  Seated Zumba Gold in sheltered and residential care homes.


Fitsteps and Fitsteps Low Impact - ballroom and fitness combined


Pound fit - toning and cardio fitness class with ripstix (drumsticks).

Red Warrior - fuses martial arts and fitness to challenge your body and mind.

Insanity - this is a HIIT class that will shape and sculpt your body.

Metafit - combines HIIT techniques and bodyweight training.

We teach Zumba® Fitness, Zumba Toning, Zumba® Gold, Zumba®Gold Toning and Zumba® Gold in the Chair.

The Zumba® Fitness goal is simple - we want people to work out, love working out and to get hooked. By integrating Zumba fitness into everyday life individuals may achieve long term benefits whilst experiencing an absolute blast in one exhilarating hour of calorie burning, heart racing, muscle pumping, body energising movements meant to engage and captivate for life! The routines feature interval training sessions where fast and slow rhythms and resistance training are combined to tone and sculpt your body while burning fat. Add some latin flavor and international zest into the mix and you have ZUMBA® FITNESS! 

Zumba Gold® takes the popular Latin-dance inspired workout of Zumba Fitness and makes it accessible for people starting out on their fitness programme, mature movers (50+), or those needing modifications in their exercise routine by being less intense with slower moves. Zumba Gold® builds cardiovascular health by challenging the heart and working the muscles of the hips, legs and arms with dance moves. Zumba Gold® is the complete package which offers both physiological and psychological benefits. As you age, you have to be more careful about your health and fitness than ever before! Hence, rather than spending time at home, get involved in healthy and productive exercises such as Zumba Gold® .  

Zumba® Gold Toning and Toning program takes the basic Zumba Gold® dance-fitness party and adds in lightweight Zumba® Toning Sticks to enhance muscle strength, tone and endurance.  This unique, stimulating combination of cardio and dynamic resistance exercises incorporates progressive lightweight training to improve overall performance. Choreography and moves are based on combinations of rhythms such as merengue, salsa, cumbia, tango, belly dance, reggaeton and flamenco.  These exotic blends create the famous Zumba® Fitness-Party atmosphere while providing a redefining total body workout perfectly tailored to this demographic. Overall, the Zumba Gold-Toning program is challenging and effective and provides a new — and exhilarating — avenue to weighted activity for the active older adult, beginner and other special populations that may need modifications, whereas the Zumba Toning programme is designed for those who want more impact.

We also teach Zumba Gold® in the Chair in various local residential/nursing/care homes and sheltered housing accommodation for those who are chair based and for those with special needs - please contact me direct if you would like to know more about this format and hourly rate.

Fitsteps® is a BRAND NEW ballroom and latin dance fitness class that brings the Strictly Come Dancing style of dance with fitness techniques to you.  If you love Strictly then you'll love this style of ballroom dance class.  No partner required just imagine yourself waltzing along with your favourite partner!  Lesley teaches two levels of this Fitsteps or Fitsteps Low Impact for those wanting a slower paced lower impact class.

POUND - Rockout. Workout.™  - Do you love rock music, do you want to drum to it whilst working out and getting toned? Then you'll LOVE this brand new fitness class!  What is POUND™?  Drumming is exercise, and drummers, according to one study, have endurance levels that rival conditioned athletes. This is because of constant arm movement, power output, and a precise coordination of the limbs. When you really make use of all parts of the drum, you call upon deep, infrastructural muscles in your core that are rarely used in fitness classes. The result? A lean, strong, efficient body that looks as good as it feels.  "You can hear your body working".   Dance, cardio, and training classes enable you to see and feel how your body is working. But with drumming, you actually get to hear it working. Hearing your timing, precision, symmetry, and loudness gives you important auditory feedback. Based on what you hear, you can quickly adjust, improve, and work harder than ever.  Release your inner badass!!  We don't often get the permission to hit things, to let out all our energy, anger, and stress in the form music. That's exactly what drumming is. We like to call it the "permission to rock," which is an empowering and meditative all-in-one.  Make music!!  When you drum, you can forget about counting reps and looking at the clock. Each rep transforms into a beat, and each beat into a song. This takes the focus off of the difficulty of the exercise and allows you to zoom in on how your body is feeling, moving, and sounding.  

R.E.D. Warrior™ fuses martial arts and fitness enabling you to channel your inner power to shift your perceptions to change your reality. The full program consists of two parts: fitness classes to discipline your body and motivational conversations to discipline your mind. You learn how to be present in the moment, quiet your mind, and become mindfully aware of your inner strength. This combination of body mind practise challenges you to overcome your self imposed limitations and realize your potential physically and mentally.

Insanity!!!! packed with plyometric drills on top of non stop intervals of strength, power, resistance, and abs and core training moves. No equipment or weights needed, Just the will to get the fittest body you"ve ever had.

Metafit™ group workout which combines traditional bodyweight exercises with the latest HIIT training techniques to set the metabolism on fire!! No expensive kit required for this workout, each month bring a brand new 30 minute workout.
