* Charge Point Update *

Works will commence at Halbeath Park & Ride on Monday 10th June to install 6 new twin 7kW trickle chargers, replacing the existing units.

There should be limited disruption to the 2 rapid chargers and the fast charger during these works.

We apologise for any inconvenience and are working with the contractor to have the facilities up and running as soon as physically possible.

New EV chargepoints are coming across Fife.

Over the next few months, new EV chargepoints will be instaled in Ferrytoll P & R and Inverkeithing. The older 7kW chargepoints at Halbeth P & R will also be replaced. Watch this space for further updates!

Fife Council maintains a network of electric vehicle charging points across Fife as part of the e Fife charging network.

A map of charging locations and instructions can be found on the ChargePlace Scotland website.

An Access card is needed to activate the charging points, available from ChargePlace Scotland for a £20 annual fee - join ChargePlace Scotland.

It is free to charge your vehicle.

No ticket is required when connected to charger in Fife Council's own fee paying car parks.

To report a fault or release a stuck cable - click here or phone ChargePlace Scotland on 0141 648 0750.

Remember, it's good to share, so don't stay at a charger for longer than you need to charge, especially a rapid charger. And don't park an Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) car in an EV parking bay!

ChargePlace Scotlandhave published a Etiquette Guide - which you can find here.
