Advocacy
Adults (16+) and Older People are eligible for Advocacy in Fife.
People can access advocacy if affected by:
- Disability
- Chronic illness
- Dementia
- Mental illness
- Learning disability
- Personality disorder
and need help to safeguard their:
- Well-being
- Rights
- Care
- Other interests
Children and Young People (under 18) can access advocacy if:
- They are looked after by Fife Council either at home, in Foster Care, Kinship Care or in Residential Care
- Child Protection procedures are in place (aged 5 – 18 years)
- They have a mental health issue and/or a learning disability
