Fife Council currently have around 30 different grant categories which are managed by several Services across the Council.
Overall the choice of grant schemes is quite diverse, providing funding assistance to groups and organisations, in support of a wide range of community based initiatives.
Funding is available to assist organisations with the maintenance and operation of halls, other buildings and associated land on behalf of, and for use by their community. Support will be given to capital works or expenditure on repairs and/or improvements necessary to maintain the fabric of the building or land.
The applicant organisation must own, have a sufficient lease (e.g. 20 years) or have security of tenure on the building or land.
There are two funding categories:
- minor Works where costs are £1000 or less
- major Works where costs are over £1000
The maximum grant available is 60% of the estimated costs up to a maximum of £6000.

Decide on the grant scheme you wish to apply to and then download the relevant application form depending if you are applying as an individual or group, or contact the appropriate Grant Officer on the contact details provided below.
Fill in the application form and return it to the Grant Officer with a copy of any requested documentation such as constitution, accounts or project brief etc.
