Fife Council is developing a new outreach service for employment support, in partnership with Skills Development Scotland and Jobcentre Plus.
Through Opportunities Fife (external website) many of the services previously offered in the Opportunity Centres will now be delivered through drop in clinics and outreach workers.
Most of these services will be picked up by Fife Council Community Services, Careers Scotland and Jobcentre Plus. For further information on who will provide the various services please see below.
The ‘Opportunities Fife’ partnership forms a link between Fife’s partner organisations involved in employment, learning and skills opportunities. It allows collaboration to improve access to a range of skills, and qualifications for local people across Fife.
Outreach Services for Adults allows those people who have been out of the jobs market for a while to access the help and support they need to get back into learning training or work more easily.
Services will be delivered from a number of local venues across Fife. To make an appointment or find out more about what is available in your local area, contact the number below.
