Fife Council administers all local, national and European elections in the area.

The Access to Elected Office Fund Scotland that was set up to offer financial assistance to disabled people who are seeking elected office. The Fund is run by Inclusion Scotland, funded by the Scottish Government. The Fund remains open for by-elections. Following the resignation of Councillor Lesley Laird, the Returning Officer has agreed that the by-election in Ward 6 (Inverkeithing & Dalgety Bay) will be held on Thursday 6th September 2018.

More information will follow on the by-election in due course.
